Vehicle Diagnostics  These are just a select few of the comman warning lights that can apper on your vehicles dash board, Diagnostic warning lights where designed to tell you the driver there is somthing wrong with a particular system so you can then book your vehicle in to have the fault looked at.
We use the latest diagnostic equipment to aid us in our fault finding. You may well of herd of the term "fault code" or DTC (diagnostic trouble code)" These codes are generated by a vehicles many control modules to indentifi an area in that electronic system that is faulty, these codes do not tell us what the fault is and how cure it but they give us an area to start are investigation and carry out are diagnostic testeing. To give you some idear how import this is becoming if you think that vehicles 10 years ago may only have 5 or so control modules, but the very latest vehicles can have up 60 control modules so the import of having the most up to date diagnostic equipent is second to none.
We can carry out diagnostic work on all types of systems, not just engine work. some examples are: ABS, Airbag, Electronic parking brake, Climate control, Cruise control, Zenon lighting, central locking and mucg much more, please ask for details.
Main dealers will charge up to and beyond £100+vat just for the fault code read, at Millers Garage we charge £25+vat
Top Tip:
If your vehicle engine warning light is illuminated, this could be an emissions related fault, you could be using more fuel and this in turn will cause long term damage to your catalyctic converter which can be very expensive to repair.
All our work is covered by a minimum of a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty.
